Newsletter Jan 2022

Welcome back to all our families. I hope you had a fun summer break
and a very Merry Christmas.
As you know we have started the new year with a hiss and a roar. All
thanks to our parents, staff and families who contributed to tidy up our
environment over the holidays. It was so amazing to come back and
embrace our sparkly fun environment.

The bark has been replaced, the deck, playground and most of the centre
have been water blasted, the moveable equipment is being revamped,
carpets have been cleaned, gardens have been weeded and revived with
new bark, the deck has been bird proofed and inside and outside
environments have been upgraded and changed around to enhance
learning. The list just goes on and on. It takes a village to raise a child
and the same village to keep the environment looking so amazing. Its
like a whole new place to play and work.
Thank you so very much to everyone who helped. A special thankyou to
Katie and Maegan, (the organising committee), Hamish, Keith and
William for their hours of work. Its amazing how long these things take.
In regard to COVID 19 we are fully in the traffic light framework for our
Early childhood centre. You will be familiar with all the health measures
we have in place, and we will continually be reviewing and updating
these. It is good to know that at RED setting we can support everyone’s
learning onsite.
I have attached our red-light Health and Safety Procedures. We are open
for all children and encourage children to attend their usual hours. This
supports children’s wellbeing and belonging and keeps families routines
clear and predictable.
Originally MOE suggested that parents keep children at home if they can.
At this stage we are fully staffed and have our safety procedures in
place to be able to have all our children on board. If you choose not to
attend during the red traffic light, please email
[email protected].

Fees Red Light:
Week beginning: 17th January – an absent fee will be charged as normal
if your child was away.
Week beginning 24th January – no absent fee charge.
Moving forward we will be charging an absent fee as usual unless you
have informed the office that your child will be absent during COVID redlight. Our board will decide moving forward regarding how this will
work with fees, spaces and non-attendance. I will let you know as soon
as these decisions have been made.
It is very important that parents stick to their booked times, please
ensure you drop off and pick up at the correct times that you have
requested. Our teachers are booked for certain times each day based on
your bookings.
Any changes to these hours please email [email protected] or
txt Country Kids cell phone 0226914306.

Take care, stay safe and look out for each other.
Thankyou for your patience and support.
Nickie and the Country Kids Team
