Yee haa it is summer!!! We are adoring this beautiful weather and are making the most of it. Water play, paddock walks and enjoying the red ripe strawberries from our gardens are just some of the exciting events that have begun………..

Family Christmas Picnic

Wow what a great turn out we had for our Christmas party.
Our children sang some christmas songs for Santa who came to visit and we all feasted on a huge barbeque.

A special thanks to Kelly and Lindsay for organising this specail event.
Thanks to all the hard work of our Teachers on the night and to our very supportive families.

Network Tasman Trust grant

A huge thank you to Network Tasman Trust.

Country Kids has received a $1000 grant to assist us in having a Heat pump installed into our sleep room. The Board have made the balance of the money required available so we have been able to approach Best & West to have it installed as soon as possible. This will be a huge benefit this summer because with the hotter weather coming on we need something to help keep our babies cool while they sleep.

We say Farewell to Susan

This week we have said farewell to one of our favourite teachers, Susan. Susan’s last day was on Thursday.
Today (Thursday) we got together and sang songs and gave her our presents.

All of us from both the Community and Country Kids wish Susan well and thank her for the dedication and hard work she has given us.

Our new garden

Recently there has been huge excitement as we have watched the diggers and trucks move the mound and the play house to the added area of our playground. We even lived the story of the Little Yellow Digger as the truck with the new bark got stuck and the digger had to tow it out.
