Roof replaced

Date: January 9, 2010 | Category: News

This week will see the roof replaced on the relocated buildings. Advice was taken on what has been causing our musty smell in and around the entrance way. It seems that a combination of factors including the existing low pitch of the roof, soldering cracking on the joints and an unusual ridge profile are the most likely causes of water getting in.

A Building team lead by John Erni from Keystone Building will this week begin taking off the old iron and erecting new trusses. This will be followed by a new colour steel roof being put on by Contour roofing. Thanks to Kevin from Sixtus Electrical for running a couple of new wires and ensuring our electrical needs are being met.
