Camping at Country Kids

We asked the children what they did in the holidays. A common theme that came up was camping, which prompted us to set up our own camp site.   Brought in were; a tent, camp chairs, torch, camp table and a picnic table. But before we set it all up, we asked the children where did they go camping and what did they take camping.  One said that he went up the big hill by the beach, and they took a camping fridge.  We had plenty of helpers erecting our tent, banging in pegs with a stone and setting up the camp chairs.  They discovered a way to get the heavy box of wood over to the camp fire, by dragging the box. Great team work!   We ended up having a camp picnic for our lunch under the cool of the tree.

Next we intend to have a real camp fire with sausages and marshmallows Yum!

This looks like fun. It is the first time I have looked at your site and it is great, and very easy to use. Keep up the great work Lorraine and Amz Big hugs from Rebecca Olney (Harakeke)
